FRED
FRED Sydney New BTQ, Australia | White Limestone Luxury Boutique Project Located in Australia, the new boutique project for FRED Sydney showcases a refined combination of luxury retail design and natural stone craftsmanship. For this project, Goldtop Stone supplied custom white limestone solutions for the store façade, including specially processed carved surfaces and curved stone panels. In addition to the Sydney boutique, we have also participated in multiple global FRED boutique projects, including FRED Hong Kong, Chengdu, Shenyang, Chongqing, Sanya, Shanghai, Tianjin, Ningbo, and Shenzhen, mainly supplying exterior decorative wall panels, interior wall cladding, flooring, and custom marble furniture. The company was originally named "Fred of Paris" because its first jewelry store opened in Paris in 1936, reflecting the brand's long-standing connection with French luxury and craftsmanship. Project Overview Project Name: FRED Sydney New BTQ Project Time: 2026 Project Location: Australia Project Material: White Limestone Application: Wall I. Project Background and Challenges Luxury retail spaces require not only visual elegance, but also extremely high standards in stone fabrication, dimensional accuracy, and installation detailing. For the FRED Sydney New BTQ project, the main challenges included: ◆ Creating a carved surface texture with smooth wave transitions while avoiding sharp edges ◆ Producing customized curved stone panels with consistent vein continuity ◆ Maintaining uniform color and texture across all white limestone slabs ◆ Achieving precise fabrication tolerances suitable for luxury retail façades ◆ Ensuring the natural texture of the limestone remained refined after surface processing Because the project used sculptural façade elements instead of conventional flat panels, the fabrication process required advanced CNC carving techniques and careful hand-finishing. II.Project Highlights ★ Custom Carved White Limestone Façade The project features high-quality white limestone slabs processed into a custom wave-texture finish. Unlike standard linear grooves, the carved surface creates a softer flowing effect with rounded transitions, giving the building façade a more artistic and contemporary appearance. ★ Curved Limestone Panels The project also included specially fabricated curved panels, demonstrating our capability in complex stone shaping and precision fabrication for luxury commercial projects. ★ Strict QC & Safe Delivery For luxury retail projects like FRED, consistency matters. From slab selection to final production, every piece of white limestone was checked carefully for color, texture, dimensions, and surface details to keep the overall look clean and uniform. Since the project included carved surfaces and curved panels, packaging was also especially important. All materials were packed with reinforced wooden crates, protective padding, and waterpro...
